Overview
Turbine condensate system is one of important system of steam turbine thermodynamic cycle, its main function is to collect the steam turbine exhaust steam, condenses into water after booster of the condensate pump sent to the boiler, the reliability of the system equipment is closely related to the turbine running stability. System mainly has the following subsystems and equipment: Surface condenser, Vacuum extraction system, Integrated two stage steam jet ejector; Vapour lock air leakage cooling system; Condenser online cleaning system; Pipe & valve instrument and control system.
The condenser is the main equipment, system is mainly composed of shell, tube bundle, thermal wells, water chamber and other parts. The exhaust steam of steam turbine through the throat into the shell, condenses into water on the cooling bundles and collect in thermal well, drawn by the condensate pump. Cooling water (also called circulating water) from the import water chamber into cooling tube bundle and is discharged from the outlet water chamber. In order to ensure the steam condenses to maintain high vacuum and good heat transfer effect in the condenser, also equipped with suction device, it will constantly extract the air leak into the condenser and the non-condensing gas. Extraction equipment mainly include water jet ejector, steam jet ejector, mechanical vacuum pump and united vacuum pump, etc.
