Qingdao Petrochemical Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Engineering Research Center was jointly set up by Qingdao Jieneng High&New Technology Co., Ltd and China Petroleum University. It was identified as Qingdao Engineering Research Center in July 2014 by Qingdao Developmnet and Reform Commission. The official building started from October 2014, basic civil engineering and plant construction have been completed in July 2015. In March 2015 has declared to upgrade to be the provincial level engineering technology research center.
The center covers an area of more than 2000 square meters, including Petrochemical Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Equipment Technology Integration and Design Laboratory, Multiphase Flow Analysis Public Platform, Flue Gas Desulfurization/Denitration/Dust Removal Equipment Technology Pilot Platform, Water Pollution Control Equipment Technology Pilot Platform, Oil Chemical Industry (electric power, pharmaceutical, municipal) Solid Waste Management Equipment Technology Pilot Platform, Multiphase Flow Separation (whirlwind/vortex/filter/membrane separation, etc.) and Equipment Technology Pilot Platform, High Efficient Heat Exchanging Equipment Technology Pilot Platform.
The center configure spin liquid separation comprehensive experimental study device, industrial Xray machinery, digital ultrasonic fault detector, vacuum helium leak detection equipment, etc. all kinds of largescale test detection instruments and equipment 100 sets, the total cost of the equipment nearly 20 million yuan. And configure the ASPEN PLUS, SOLIDWORKS,Fluent6.2 etc. design and calculation software to ensure to carry out a more comprehensive, more scientific testing and analysis work, improve the petroleum and chemical treatment process, improve the ability of testing services, to better serve the economic development of the region.
