Qingdao Jieneng High&New Technology Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with China University of Petroleum to establish the Engineering Research Center in 2013. In July 2014, the center was officially identified as the Qingdao municipal level Engineering Research Center by Qingdao Development and Reform Commission, be named as Qingdao City Petrochemical Multiphase Flow Separation and Natural Gas Liquefaction Process and Equipment Engineering Research Center.
